Originally from Boston and Cape Cod, Marcia Stremlau has lived on the coast of Maine as well as the Cape since 1970. Her acrylic paintings, watercolors, and unique books and panels depict scenes from Downeast Maine and the shores of Cape Cod.
Trained at the Art Student's League in New York, Lake Erie College, and The College of the Atlantic, she is a vital part of the Maine artistic community. She has exhibited her work in Maine and New York City and is a regular participant of The Great Spruce Head Island residency.
